A place we can stretch out in and begin anew. A place we can all find value and purpose, where we can live together in peace and mutual respect. A place so filled with beauty and resources that there is not even a thought of separateness, just sharing into the collective.
We might simply find our way back to our homes and value them even more than before we were put on this path. We might find that all the adventures we were seeking don’t compare to the places where we feel accepted and comfortable. Places filled with memories of laughter and tears. Places we shared with others breaking bread, drinking tea, and feeling safe. The spirit that is needed in this transition is that of the adventurer, explorer, brave and fearless women and men willing to risk their known lives as they step into the mystery of the unknown and unknowable. Those who seek a new way of being, a new place for humanity to thrive. Where will they lead us? The spirit that is needed is that of the architect and engineer. Those that will revision and repurpose our world into something more. Something built on solid foundations, with structures that protect all of us—not just the few. How will they design our world? The spirit that is needed is that of the inventor. The radical thinkers willing to speak out and be seen as crazy in order to share. The ones who see the problems and go a step further to envision the solutions. The tinkerers who build and build with whatever they have at hand, turning the end result into more than its pieces and parts. What will they build for us? The spirit that is needed is that of the children. The joyful ones who bring light and hope to all our lives. The ones unburdened by mortgages and expenses. The little hands and hearts that ask for hugs and snuggles. The ones who bring us fully present to this moment in time as the only moment in time. And yet, the ones who are the future. When will their joy spread? As I write this, so many more archetypes and energies come readily to mind. I am brought around to a truth that surprises me. The spirit that is needed in this transition is all right here, in all of us. All of our different ways of being, brought together. I believe the spirit that is needed right now is simply cooperation and love. We cooperate with each other, the animals, the elements, the earth, the ancestors, the future. The adventurers, architects, inventors, children, mothers, brothers, fathers, daughters... the joyful ones and the deep thinkers all work together to transform how we are today into who we will become tomorrow.
