In January 2021, my life seemed to be unraveling—my marriage was ending, I had to find a new place to live, I was leaving behind friends, and I had to figure out how to support myself. Worst of all, I had to tell my children that their parents were separating. In the midst of all this chaos, I sat quietly with myself, trying to figure out who I truly was. I took a deep breath, grabbed my keyboard, and asked the question: “Who am I?” What followed flowed effortlessly in less than 15 minutes. It turns out, I wasn’t as lost as I thought. I felt my guides and higher self there, gently steering me, helping me channel my truth. If you’ve never tried this exercise, I highly recommend it. Find a quiet space, breathe deeply, and invite all parts of yourself—your guides, ancestors, or any other beings of light—to speak through you. Then, simply start writing. You might be surprised by what comes through. Who I am
I am beautiful, smart, creative, healthy, and fun. I love adventure and travel. I am resourceful, resilient, and reliable. I am loyal, honest, and have integrity. I want to serve the planet and people, I am caring and compassionate. I’m mature and committed to what I believe in. I offer forever and unconditional love to the people I value. I think outside the box and I want to go deep, be intimate and really get to know you. I’d rather spend hours talking quantum science, spirituality and personal growth and expansion, possibilities, and new theories than five minutes asking what you do for a living. I am not superficial or interested in labels, I want things that last, craftsmanship and quality and I’m willing to work to get and keep them. I won’t run off with the next shiny idea, person, or adventure. I’d rather bring you along as we set out on that adventure together. I do the deep inner work to know myself and heal my wounds. I’m happy to help others to do their inner work. It brings me joy to watch the awakenings spread through someone’s soul and shine out through their smile and eyes. I share with others and live with a down-to-my-core knowing that I will always have everything I need to live a happy life because that happiness comes from within. I can lead and I can follow. I work independently and collaboratively. I am confident and humble. I respect myself and the decisions I make, I live with my choices and take full responsibility for them. I don’t shy away from the hard work in life, and I’ll encourage you when you are doing the same. I’ll always be there for the ones I love in a healthy way. I won’t stay in relationship with disrespect and devaluing. I will hold your hand in the hospital and see you off at the end. That’s who I am. Comments are closed.
