The Spirit of a Place As I’ve mentioned before, in shamanic understanding, everything has a presence. A consciousness. A spirit. Not just people—but places. 🌲 A forest. 🏡 A home. 🏞️ A landscape. Each carries its own energy, its own way of being. And spring has a spirit, too. A quiet, persistent invitation toward life. What Spring Teaches Us
Spring does not force growth. It allows it. It does not rush. It trusts timing. Beneath the surface, so much has already been happening—roots deepening, energy gathering, life preparing. And then, at the right moment…It emerges. Spring reminds us:
A Simple Nature Practice Find a place—a tree, a patch of earth, a quiet path. Stand or sit there for a few moments. Breathe. And ask: What are you showing me right now? Then listen. Not with your mind, but with your body. You may feel a sense of patience. A soft encouragement. A reminder that you, too, are part of this unfolding. You Are Not Separate Spring is not happening around you. It is happening within you. The same intelligence that moves the seasons…moves through your life. And when you slow down enough to notice, you begin to remember that you are not behind or late. You are simply blooming and becoming—in your own time, in your own way.
