A little while ago, I was introduced to the phrase “New Earth Wayshower” thanks to the work of Shirley Lohmaier and Shirley Hilzinger. It had a poetic ring to it, but I had no idea what it meant. The words stayed with me, though, stirring a quiet curiosity. What is a Wayshower? And what does the “New Earth” really mean? I decided to dig deeper, and the more I uncovered, the more intriguing this concept became.
I’m sharing what I’ve learned here, and I leaned on AI quite a bit to help me dig into the topic. That said, this kind of research has its limits–it casts a wide net, so some of the takeaways might be a bit general. If you know more or spot something I missed, I’d love to hear from you! What I discovered is that at its heart, the idea of a New Earth Wayshower is deeply spiritual, reflecting a hopeful vision for humanity’s future. It calls on each of us to reconsider how we live, who we are, and how we connect with one another and our planet. |
